The Land of Shiva... Bharmour and Manimahesh

As an adventure lover with irrepressible spirit one find himalayas not only just a place for demonstration of the free will but to the contrary the pure vastness of the mountain chain runs a lingering desire in you to get bind to it till eventuality.
For himalayan mountain and its subsidiary lesser himalayan chains the beauty does not lie in the fact  that they are actually world's grandest mountain set but the beauty lies in the approach that it provides a visitor into its vast spread . It enfolds in a layered manner whereas one starts to go deep, it peels of one layer after another of the magnificent scenic splendour and finally the core the ultimate bliss of the destination and choose any from eastern ranges of sikkim to the pir panjal in the north west , its omnipresent like Gods love in the form that we can conceive in the realm of our senses.
Bharmour is one such destination .
Situated at a distance of 60 Km's from Chamba in Himachal Pradesh.



The 60 KM drive to Bharmour once one of the most remote places in himachal is all along the river Ravi that meanders down the mountain slopes .

Bharmour is most famous for its Chaurasi temple compound for Lord Shiva  - the supreme deity of the locals here .
